Rules of Play for 50/50 Electronic Raffle

 

1. Ticket purchasers must be 18 years or older and in Ontario at the time of purchase to play.

2. Draws will take place as on the following dates in 2024, and 2025 at 10:30am on the dates indicated:

Draw 1 (January) Early Bird Draws will take place December 20th $20,000, January 9 $10,000, January 23 $15,000. Jackpot Draw will take place January 30 with the deadline to purchase 11:59pm on January 29.

Draw 2 (February) Early Bird Draws will take place February 7 $7,000, February 14 $14,000, and February 21 for $7,000. Jackpot Draw will take place February 28 with the deadline to purchase 11:59pm on February 27.

Draw 3 (March) Early Bird Draws will take place March 13, for $10,000 and March 20 for $10,000. Jackpot Draw will take place March 27 with deadline to purchase 11:59pm on March 26th.

Draw 4 (April) Early Bird Draws will take place, April 1, 8, 15 for $2,000, & April 17 for $15,000. Jackpot Draw will take place April 24 with deadline to purchase 11:59pm on April 23rd.

Draw 5 (May) Early Bird Draws will take place, May 8, 15 for $10,000 each & May 22nd for $20,000. Jackpot Draw will take place May 29th with deadline to purchase 11:59pm on May 28th.

Draw 6 (June) Early Bird Draws will take place, June 13 for $13,000 & June 20 for $20,000. Jackpot Draw will take place June 27 with deadline to purchase 11:59pm on June 26th.

Draw 7 (August) Early Bird Draws will take place, July 10th for $1,000, July 31 for $1,000, August 14th for $1,000, & August 21st for $1,000. Jackpot Draw will take place August 28 with deadline to purchase 11:59pm on August 27th.

Draw 8 (September) Early Bird Draws will take place, September 11 & 18th for $1,000 each. Jackpot Draw will take place September 25th with deadline to purchase 11:59pm on September 24th.

Draw 9 (October) Early Bird Draws will take place, October 10, 17 for $1,000 each & October 24th for $1,100. Jackpot Draw will take place October 31 with deadline to purchase 11:59pm on October 30th.

Draw 10 (November) Early Bird Draws will take place, November 13 & 20 for $1,000 each. Jackpot draw will take place November 27 with deadline to purchase 11:59pm on November 26th.

6. Tickets can be purchased at:

201 Georgian Drive,  Barrie, ON L4M 6M2, Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm, at the Lotto Booth location or the main entrance information desk, at Georgian Mall Community Services Kiosk at 509 Bayfield St, Barrie, ON, on Saturday January 25th, February 22nd, Saturday March 22nd, Saturday April 19th Saturday May 24th Saturday June 21st, Saturday July 26th Saturday August 23rd, Saturday September 20th, Saturday October 25th Saturday November 22nd and Mayes Martin Ltd, at 150 Vespra St, Barrie, ON Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm and online at RVHAuxiliary5050.com

7. Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by Ascend Fundraising Solutions.

8. After buying, patrons will receive a confirmation email or a receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.

9. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.

10. The amount of the 50/50 will be posted on the RVH Auxiliary Community 50/50 page.

11. The winning number will be announced on the RVHAuxiliary5050.com web page and RVH Auxiliary social media and local press.

12. The winner may claim their prize by contacting RVH Auxiliary at: (705) 728-9090 ext. 42432, or by email at: RVHAuxiliary5050@rvh.on.ca. The ticket may then be brought to 201 Georgian Drive, Barrie, ON at an agreed upon time for ticket verification. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted at the event for which they bought their ticket. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque.

13. The winning ticket holder has 1 year in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchase for.

14. The winner must provide his/her name, address, and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.

15. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that draw. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.

16. The winners will be posted on the rvhauxiliary5050.com website, on social media, and e-news. The winner acknowledges and hereby irrevocably and in perpetuity release the right for RVH Auxiliary 5050, and/or their designees to use and/or publish the Winner’s first name and first initial of the last name, city of residence, photographs or other likenesses, pictures, portraits, video, voice, testimonials, and/or statements made by the Winner regarding the raffle or otherwise worldwide and in perpetuity for any and all purposes, including, but not limited to, advertising, publicity, trade and/or promotion in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised, including, but not limited to, print, TV, radio, electronic, cable, social media outlets or World Wide Web, without any further limitation, restriction, compensation, notice, review, or approval

17. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be kept in a safety deposit box and held for 1 year. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to RVH for their current fundraising campaign or equipment needs, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

18. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws: President, RVH Auxiliary Vice-President, RVH Auxiliary Director of Operations, RVH Auxiliary Community Engagement Manager, RVH Auxiliary Executive Assistant, RVH Auxiliary RVH Senior Leadership team RVH Foundation CEO

19. Any transaction cancellations initiated by a party other than RVH Auxiliary will result in the associated tickets being considered void, and as a result, not eligible to win the prize.

20. Tickets cannot be transferred or resold to another party.

21. The above set of rules will be posted online at RVHAuxiliary5050.com.
