About the RVH Auxiliary

The RVH Auxiliary is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1897 with the mission of fundraising to support and enhance patient care at RVH.

The Auxiliary owns and operates Café Royale and Victoria’s Gift Shop, and rents retail space to outside vendors.

As well, volunteer members support the mission by participating in a variety of annual fundraising activities and events: In addition to the 50/50 draws, volunteer members support the mission by participating in a variety of annual fundraising activities and events: Bazaar, Battle of the BBQs, Santa Shuffle, bus tours, Team RVH Silent Auction along with a variety of bake sales. Since the inception of the Auxiliary in September 1897, millions of dollars have been raised to support patient care.

Our Auxiliary has currently pledged $5 million to the Keep Life Wild Campaign with the first $2.5 million for the eventual NICU expansion already raised. The other $2.5 million is being allocated for a third MRI that will benefit all patients needing diagnostic and treatment imaging. These funds and others raised benefit patient care for our region.
